Sophistication Strings comprises a pool of highly trained and experienced professional string players who perform in top UK orchestras such as City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, Welsh National Opera Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and the City of London Sinfonia

 

Crossover and commercial experience includes work with artists such as Robbie Williams, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson and Blake.  We have also provided backing strings for the X factor and been invited to take part in ITV1's 'May The Best House Win'. In 2021-22, Sophistication Strings appeared regularly as part of the 'Fever Candlelight Swan Lake' National Tour. In Summer 2022, the quartet was invited to Gordes in the South of France to play at a product launch for Lancome.

 

All Sophistication Strings' musicians have extensive experience of the wedding and events industry and have performed at high-end Corporate events all over the UK and abroad.

In addition to this, we all give solo and chamber music recitals regularly and have worked extensively in the session and recording industries with well known and emerging composers and singer song-writers
